Speaker Biographical Sketch: Dr. Mauricio López Garza is a dentist with a strong academic and clinical focus on implant dentistry and advanced restorative procedures. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Monterrey and is currently a Fellow in the Advanced Clinical Fellowship in Implant Dentistry at New York University, where he continues to refine his clinical expertise in a highly specialized academic environment. Dr. López Garza’s training encompasses a broad range of disciplines within implant dentistry, including surgical implant placement, oral rehabilitation, digital treatment planning, and laboratory workflows using ExoCad. His hands-on experience integrates both clinical and laboratory perspectives, allowing him to approach complex cases with precision, predictability, and a comprehensive understanding of restorative-driven implant treatment. Actively engaged in research and academic dissemination, Dr. López Garza has presented clinical cases and research projects at national and international conferences such as the Greater New York Dental Meeting (GNYDM), the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI), NYU Research Day, and other recognized academic forums. These experiences reflect his commitment to contributing to the scientific community and staying at the forefront of evidence-based dentistry. His professional interests are particularly centered on implant surgery, immediate provisionalization protocols, and the study of bone density and its impact on implant stability and treatment outcomes.
