Scleroderma in Dentistry

Objectives:

The objective of the lecture is to highlight the most common dental findings in patients that suffer from Scleroderma and the challenges that dentists have to face when treating this type of patients, also to educate Scleroderma patients on what conditions they may have and the best way to approach dental care for them.

Guest Speaker: Dr. Luis Del Castillo             

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, graduated from Dental School at Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1993, taught Complete Dentures in that school from 1993 to 1996, then came to Tufts University for a Postgraduate training in Prosthodontics and graduated in 1999, after graduating became Prosthodontics Faculty at Tufts, obtained the DMD degree from Tufts University in 2009 and started Private Practice in Beacon Hill, Boston, currently alternating Private Practice and a teaching position as Faculty in Postgraduate Prosthodontics at Boston University.
